The Jazz Seminar is a five-day activity for 30 musically talented students who are interested in jazz and wish to showcase those talents by practicing and performing with one of the worldÕs great jazz musicians and educators. The objective is to foster a greater appreciation for jazz music with the hope that greater emphasis will be placed on the instruction of jazz at the local school level. |
| Creative Connections is a five-day high school advanced visual and performing arts activity for 150 students who are talented and interested in the arts. The basic objective of this activity is to provide the students with activities that provide them with the opportunity to expand and improve on their talents beyond what is viable in their local schools. |  |

Honors Band and Choir Festival is a four-day activity for 140 musically talented students to showcase those talents by practicing and performing on one of the worlds great concert halls. The objectives of this activity are to provide a forum for talented students to improve their skills by working on challenging music with other talented students as well as preparing for and presenting a formal quality concert for the German community. |
| Drama Festival is a three-day event open to any DoDDS-Europe High School drama teams. Up to 160 drama students perform to each other for critiques. Students attend evening workshops and perform solo or small ensemble before a panel of judges. |  |

Showcase Anthology is a publication of a collection of art and literature from DoDDS-Europe student in grades K-12. The best works are selectioned from over 5000 entries. They are compiled and layouts are produced by 25 art and literary teacher for this outstanding 124-page production of student work. |
